About Rachel
-
Rachel Grzenia-Franchi
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
-
Rachel found her passion for treating anxiety disorders and OCD working for Rogers Behavioral Health just out of her undergraduate program. There she worked with adolescents struggling with Anxiety disorders and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder at the residential level. She fell in love with helping her patients achieve their treatment goals and overcome their fears and anxieties through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention. While working for Rogers, she completed her Masters in Social Work from University of Wisconsin - Madison, and began working in an outpatient setting. Rachel has been practicing utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention for several years, and enjoys getting to know clients and support them in achieving their goals.
Another passion of Rachel’s is working with individuals whom have experienced trauma, and have been diagnosed with PTSD. Rachel has received formal training for Prolonged Exposure to assist individuals who have been diagnosed with PTSD, and support them in living a life free from the confines of their traumatic experience.
Rachel is a firm believer that therapy can be helpful for all those who seek it. She has opted to not take insurance at this time, to allow for clients to come and go as they please without being dictated by insurance requirements and limitations.
